You will need an assistant for this exercise.
Lie on your back with a buoyancy collar around your neck and a noodle under your hips.
Hold a paddle in each of your hands.
Ask your assistant to stand behind your head with their hands on your back.
Relax into the water, keeping your back straight.
Take your arms out to your side with your elbows straight and your palms facing forwards.
Your assistant will then push you through the water while you attempt to keep your arms still.
Do not allow the water to push your arms out any further.
