Plantar fascia stretch in sitting

Sit up straight in a chair and cross your affected foot over the knee of your other leg.
Using your hand on the same side, reach your palm and fingers around the top of your toes.
Your palm should run along the underside of your toes and your fingers around the heel of your foot.
Pull your toes back towards your shin.
Allow your ankle to bend up towards your shin too.
Ensure you keep your foot neutral so it does not travel up towards your body.
You should feel a stretch along the sole of your foot.
Hold this position.
